Installation

1) Tilt seats forward toward front of car.

2) Unbolt Driver’s Side Seat Belt Anchor
a. At base of B-Pillar locate seat belt anchor
b. Remove bolt holding lower portion of seat belt

3) Unbolt Passenger’s Side Seat Belt Anchor
a. At base of B-Pillar locate seat belt anchor
b. Remove bolt holding lower portion of seat belt

4) Remove upper B-Pillar Trim.
a. Uncover top bolt using a pick or small screw driver, and use 10mm socket to remove bolt .
b. Repeat for opposite side.

5) Trim B-Pillar Cover
a. You will need to remove some of the square grid from the back of the b-pillar cover t gain access to the bolt when re-installing cover.
b. Remove only the portion of square grid that covers directly where the seat belt bolt goes. This can be don with a pait of pliers by pinching the grid and twisting. It will break the grid off fairly easily.
c. You will also need to trim back the underside of where the bolt goes to be able to access the bolt with a wrench later.

6) Install Main Harness Bar
a. Remove shoulder belt bolt and spacers.
b. Position main harness bar ends into the B-Pillar cover opening
c. Assemble the hardware as fallows: 2.5” bolt, washer, Harness bar end bracket, 17mm spacer, seat belt anchor, both OE spacers. And thread into b-pillar
b. Repeat for opposite side; again do not fully tighten fasteners.

7) Prepare Tension Rods:
a. Install a rod end with jam nut into each Upright Tension rod

8) Install upright Tension Rods
a. Install bottom of tension rod first.
b. Position rod so that the bottom rod end is flat against the inside of the floor where seat belt anchor bolts were removed in steps 3 and 4
c. Install supplied bolt through holes with a washer on each. Do not tighten completely
d. Repeat for opposite side.

9) Install Tension Bar Rod Ends into Main Harness Bar
a. Determine final position of Main Harness Bar
b. Bar should be level and evenly spaced in the car.
c. Move tension rod into position to bolt into the lower bracket of the Main Harness Bar.
d. Adjust Rod Ends to fully extended.
e. Install supplied bolt through holes with a washer on each side. Do not tighten completely
f. Repeat for opposite side

10) Install B-Pillar Panels
a. Now that the Main Harness Bar has been set in place finish installing the b-pillar panel to factory location and fit.

11) Tighten all Bolts
a. Do a bolt check
b. Ensure that Main Harness Bar is in final desired position and tighten all bolts to the B-Pillar Brackets, Upright tension Rods, Floor Brackets, and tighten the jam nuts on the Rod Ends.

12) At this time adjust the tension on the upright tension rods.
a. Twist the center of the tension rod so that the bar becomes shorter.   
b. After tension is placed on the main harness bar tighten down the jamb nuts on either end of the upright tension rods.
c. Repeat for opposite site.
d. The tension is very important as it stops forward and back motion in the main harness bar.

13) Install Seat Belts
a. Install you seat belts as desired onto Harness Bar.
